181. Inertia stabs versus Nanos - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Originally by: Argyle Jones because the mass reduction even without the stacking penalty reaches a point where the Nanofiber is a more viable option, simply because the amount of mass reduced yields less speed boost after mwd, than a nanof...

Edited by: Argyle Jones on 18/02/2007 16:54:11 Edited by: Argyle Jones on 18/02/2007 16:46:59 Snip, recalculated. You're right they're stacking nerfed. Odd that it doesn't say that in the description, as it does with other stacking nerfed...

183. Inertia stabs versus Nanos - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I stabs are not stacking nerfed yet, but in a sense they are. When you reduce the mass, the next istab module will reduce the reduced amount, so to speak. On any cruiser sized ship, more than two inertia stabs are useless. Experimented to see whi...

184. Capital ships, Rigs, Implants and YOU. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Now the interesting question is: "Are these discrepancies actually bugs?" Take a look at the shield boost amps. They amplify the capital shield booster, although the comparable rigs and implants do not. This clearly puts a shield tank ahead of a...

186. jurry rig problem - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
AFAIK, you can only check the charges in your weapons / boosters, when in the fitting screen. It is an easy test however. Launch a can, go to your presumed new max range, and fire. If you hit it, the rig works.

187. More carrier questions. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I've been playing around in my head with a lot of different Nidhoggur setups. Haven't finished all the skills yet, so can't test these issues myself. In that regard I have some questions. Do the Auxliary Nano Pump and Nanobot Accelerator Rigs w...

189. Official statement? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
The only problem I see with this mechanic is that it is entirely possible to sit next to a ship in a covert ops frigate, wait until he log, quickly uncloak and fire a smartbomb. When clicking control Q, you're out of the game, but your ship is not...

190. CCP = Racists - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I luve minnie ships. Granted, 9k/s battleships have made a vagabond pilots life a little more dangerous. But C'mon, we're the fastest and best passive shield tankers in the game. Great ships of the minmatar variant: Rifter (Well setup, it's a...

192. Why this game is going down hill fast - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I agree in some aspects with the OP. Technologically and gameplay wise the game has never been better, but concerning the behaviour of the people playing it... meh. It's great that EVE is growing and evolving. CCPs baby has gotten older, and has ...

193. Suggestion for nerfing fast battleships. - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
I think it's become obvious in recent discussions that the problem with fast ships, isn't interceptors or cruisers, but rather typhoons, dominixes and megathrons, going at 10k/s. The small ships were designed to go fast, and when they reach extr...
